Follow the Visual Directions:

PaceAid

PaceAid is available in four distinct models, aligned with the American Heart Association guidelines for providing effective CPR:

Infant/Pediatric 1-Man/2-Man/Advanced Airway

PA01

Hospital/EMS CPR  Dircections for Use:


  • Locate the overhanging liner at the bottom of the device and remove to automatically activate the device.


  • Place PaceAid on the victim’s upper chest, shoulder, arm, or a visual area within the rescuer’s direct line of sight. 


  • Use the toggle button to switch between 1-Man CPR,  2-ManCPR, and when performing CPR with an advanced airway in place.


  • Follow visual instructions


Note: PA01 defaults to 1-Man CPR. 


RED LIGHT/GREEN LIGHT

LED lights will give real-time signals for compressions and breaths during CPR: 

     One-Man, Two-Man, Advanced Airway 


The RED Heart lights for required compressions


The GREEN Head lights when it is time to deliver a breath


The YELLOW light indicates the mode. It will remain in one-man CPR until the toggle button is pressed to provide two-man CPR guidance. If an advance airway is in place, the toggle button can be pressed again to provide guidance for advanced airway management.

PA02

  • Use the toggle button to switch between 1-Man/2-Man CPR, and when performing CPR with an advanced airway in place.


  • Follow visual instructions


Note: PA02 defaults to 1-Man/2-Man CPR .  

Infant/Pediatric 1-Man vs 2-Man

PA03

Bystander CPR  Dircections for Use:

  • Locate the overhanging liner at the bottom of the device and remove to automatically activate the device.


  • Place PaceAid on the victim’s upper chest, shoulder, arm, or a visual area within the rescuer’s direct line of sight .


  • Use the toggle button to switch modes between 1-Man and 2-Man CPR. 


  • Follow visual instructions. 


Note: PA03 is defaulted to 1-Man CPR when activated. 

 


PaceAid can be used alongside an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

  • A shock can be delivered without removing PaceAid.  


PaceAid can remain in place during transport or follow-up care. 

                      

                       IMPORTANT:  PaceAid is

                             * NOT MRI SAFE *

and must be removed before any MRI procedures.


Adult 1-Man/2-Man

PA04

Bystander CPR Directions for Use: 

  • Locate the overhanging liner at the bottom of the device and remove to automatically activate the device.


  • Place PaceAid on the victim’s upper chest, shoulder, arm, or a visual area within the rescuer’s direct line of sight. 


  • Follow visual instructions.

 

Note: Ratio of Compressions to rescue breath are the same for both 1-Man and 2-Man CPR.
